Fintech Update – In celebrating Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta commemorates its 45th anniversary, the Center for Fintech and Banking UNS (UNS Fintech Center), in collaboration with UNS Anniversary Celebration Committee, managed various events to celebrate the university’s anniversary. This celebration’s main agenda was a scientific speech from 2003 Nobel Laureate Prof. Robert Franklin Engle on Friday, 12 March 2021.
Prof. Robert Franklin Engle received Nobel Prize in 2003 for his invention in the economic field, the Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH), a time-series data with volatility that varies with time. ARCH, co-integration analysis, and other time-series econometric analyses complete financial econometric techniques for modern quantitative finance.
