    At the Center for Excellence in Fintech and Banking UNS, our Research and Survey division stands as the backbone of innovation, combining academic rigor with industry relevance to address pressing challenges in the financial sector. We specialize in empirical studies, large-scale surveys, and feasibility analyses, covering critical areas such as digital financial inclusion, Islamic banking resilience, fintech adoption, and economic recovery post-pandemic.

    Our Community Service Initiative is committed to promoting equitable growth and strengthening governance at the grassroots level. Partnering with over 20 local governments across Indonesia—such as Blora Regency, Salatiga City, and Grobogan Regency—we provide technical assistance in drafting regional regulations, optimizing tax systems, and enhancing public financial management.

    As a catalyst for knowledge exchange, our Event Management team curates high-impact forums that unite global thought leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers. From the Economics and Finance Outlook 2023 international seminar—featuring insights from Bank Indonesia and BPKH—to niche webinars like Financial Planning for Millennials, our events cater to diverse audiences.

    Empowering individuals and institutions with future-ready skills is the cornerstone of our Training and Development initiatives. We offer a diverse portfolio of programs, including certification courses in digital banking, workshops on AI-driven financial analysis, and specialized training in Sharia-compliant financial products.

    About UNS Fintech Center

    The financial sector institutions experienced dramatic development following technology development, particularly the internet and smartphone penetration. This development brought rapid growth of technology-based financial firms (FinTech) in various financial aspects, including payment services, lending, investment, and other services. On the other hand, as the incumbent of the financial services industry, banks are also demanded to continue innovating to provide quality services through digital transformation.

    As a public university that excels in financial and banking research at the national level and is well recognized at the international level, UNS becomes the pioneer by establishing a center for excellence (PUI) in Fintech and Banking. As the first Fintech and Banking center of excellence in Indonesia, Fintech Center’s activities focus on academic and applied research, scientific publication, training, education and certification, and acts as an innovation hub and digital business incubator.
