Dr. Budi Wahyono adalah Dosen Tetap (Assistant Professor) di Departemen Pendidikan Ekonomi, Universitas Sebelas Maret, dengan spesialisasi di bidang keuangan. Ia meraih gelar Ph.D. di bidang Keuangan dari Yamaguchi University, Jepang (2019–2022), setelah sebelumnya menempuh studi magister dan sarjana di bidang Pendidikan Ekonomi di Universitas Sebelas Maret. Ia memiliki portofolio publikasi internasional yang kuat, dengan lebih dari 10 artikel pada jurnal bereputasi seperti Economics Letters, Finance Research Letters, dan Eurasian Economic Review. Topik penelitiannya mencakup koneksi politik, keuangan syariah, inovasi digital, dan stabilitas keuangan. Dr. Budi juga aktif sebagai reviewer untuk sejumlah jurnal ilmiah dan anggota asosiasi keuangan internasional seperti American Finance Association dan Indonesian Financial Management Association. Saat ini, ia juga tengah mengembangkan riset terkait pembayaran digital dan ketahanan ekonomi terhadap bencana.
